On one weekend in July, 20 new music commissions came together at London’s Southbank Centre, showcasing a fascinating line-up of composers, performers and organizations who made sure that new music was at the center of the Cultural Olympiad. Using a combination of interview and observation, the series explores the creative inspiration and process of 20 of the most influential composers in the UK.
