Casting Traces commissioned by New Movement Collective

 

 

Inspired by Paul Auster’s New York Trilogy, Casting Traces touches upon the themes of illusion, mystery and the modern issues of ever-present surveillance. The audience intermingles with a dance performance mixed with video projections, musical peformers and live video mixes, enhancing the atmosphere of suspense and ambiguity. In addition to the performance, created both long and short form documentary pieces on the work.
